    Nexus Infinity captures and structures rich BIM and asset metadata throughout the design and commissioning phases. This data forms the digital backbone that TwinWorX® leverages during operations, enabling zero data loss and trusted handover.

  • Step 2: Asset Modeling with DTDL Digital Twins

    Assets are modelled into Azure Digital Twins Definition Language (DTDL)-based digital twins. These models mirror the physical environment, defining assets, their relationships, telemetry, commands, and properties—enabling intelligent data binding, simulation, and contextual analytics within a federated data model.

  • Step 3: Real-Time Data Integration and Enrichment

    Through its Datahub, TwinWorX ingests telemetry from BMS, IoT, SCADA, and other systems via secure, standards-based protocols like BACnet, ModBus, and REST. These real-time data streams are bound directly to DTDL-based digital twins, bringing operational models to life with live sensor input, enabling real-time monitoring, control, and alerting.

  • Step 4: Unified TwinWorX-BIM Environment

    TwinWorX integrates the facility’s digital twins with Nexus Infinity’s BIM geometry and asset metadata, aligning real-time data with spatial context and asset lineage. This enables intuitive 3D navigation, asset-level insights, and a seamless digital thread from design intent to operational behavior.

    With a living digital twin in place, operations teams use TwinWorX’s Single Pane of Glass to monitor real-time performance, manage alarms, run predictive maintenance, and automate workflows.
